BioI'm a displaced Georgia girl living in the DC area---there just aren't science jobs in the south--why is that?
I'm a total geek when it comes to the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, movies, video games, books, TV shows (especially Lost and Heroes). Acceptance is the first step to recovery, I suppose.
This will be a place for me to rant about whatever is bugging me at the time, rave about the good things going on in my life and show off whatever project I'm currently working on. (I'm always looking up costumes for next year's Dragoncon--total geekfest--a TON of fun! I highly recommend it.) Anime conventions have started taking over my life as well. I think being addicted to drugs would be less expensive! My Nintendo DS and Wii are my newest obsessions/time killers. Who needs real life?
My journal is Friends Only now, but I'm pretty good about friending people back whom I've met and conventions, or if other LJ friends have recommended me. If we have similar interests--feel free to join the craziness that is my life.
